Let's talk about parking games today. Although the road test to get a driver's license may vary slightly from state to state, every driving test will include parking. You may be required to parallel park, or park in a stall, in an angled spot, or on a hill. You can practice your parking skills outside the car with online driver's education parking games; these games are for entertainment purposes, and not intended to replace formal driver's education.
Drivers Ed Direct Parking Game
Practice parking with this game at driverseddirect.com. Click on "start game" and you'll be taken to a street scene where you will first be required to parallel park. Use the up arrow to accelerate forward, the down arrow to slow down or reverse, the right arrow to turn your wheels to the right and the left arrow to turn left. You will be timed and points will be deducted if you hit cars or other obstacles; restart a level as many times as you need to park the car correctly. Check the lower right-hand corner of the screen to see a percentage rating of how well you've parked, and try to hit 100 percent. Once you're in the space, hit the space bar to advance to the next level. Upcoming levels include angled parking, stall parking and backing into spaces. As the levels increase, the parking spaces get tighter.
Park My Car
You're the valet in Park My Car on gamepuma.com. Back customers' cars into spaces without hitting other cars, dogs or any other obstacles. Use the up arrow for forward acceleration, the down arrow to reverse, and the right and left arrows to turn the wheels. You're being timed, so move quickly. Once you're in the space correctly, the word "OK" appears, your score is shown and you advance to the next level. You have three chances on each level to park correctly or it's game over.
